Even in the Nicaraguan capitol of Managua, basic health care is difficult to obtain for the average citizen. Health care and medicines are practically non- existent in less populated areas. Medical mission trips have helped this situation and will continue, but these do little on a long-term basis. Our organization is working with other charitable groups to establish more consistent basic health care. Our health and medical plans include providing clean water sources, working with villagers to improve public health education and infrastructure, and providing more consistent and permanent health clinics. We hope to establish clinics in many of the rural schools and churches we build. Our vision also includes training the native people for roles in health care as well as helping fund Nicaraguan doctors and nurses rotating among these proposed village clinics. Currently mission teams hold clinics in churches, schools and sometimes even under trees.
